Panthers News · Summer Activities, Camps and other information.

Parents and Students,

With summer activities underway, we wanted to share out some pertinent information regarding safety precautions that are being taken to reacclimate our student athletes.  Please be advised that Paola USD 368 takes the well being of our student athletes very seriously and during the COVID pandemic, safety protocols are in place to routinely disinfect equipment between usage and we are following the guidelines of the Governors Ad Astra Plan to Reopen Kansas and guidelines of the Kansas State High School Activities Association.  However, please understand even with these precautions, USD 368 cannot guarantee the safety and health of participants from injury or contracting COVID.

Reminder that summer activities, camps, strength and conditioning are NOT required for participation during the school year.  Athletes, however, must attend 10 DAYS of some sort of SCHOOL SPONSORED CONDITIONING if they want to participate in a school team camp later on in the summer.  These 10 days can be strength and conditioning sessions, open gym sessions, cross country, soccer conditioning, wrestling conditioning, etc.  But it must be at school, and can not be virtual.  Also summer “club” practices and/or events do not count towards this 10 days per the Kansas State High School Actvities Association.
